Sing About Me

Some songs don't just hit. They haunt you.
Sing About Me, I'm Dying of Thirst is not a rap song. It is a confession, a eulogy, and a prayer all running at the same time. Three voices. Three truths. One of the most emotionally devastating pieces of music ever recorded.
This tee doesn't summarise the song. It lives inside it.
The first column is Dave's brother. A phone call. A body held like a newborn. A shadow permanently glued to the back of someone who tried to help and couldn't. This column is about what happens when love isn't enough to stop a bullet.
The second column is Keisha's sister. She came with anger and left with her head held high. She confronted the narrator for using her sister's pain, comparing her story to Brenda's Got a Baby like it was a marketing stunt. But she refused to fade. This column is about dignity in the face of exploitation.
The third column is the narrator's own reflection. Standing in front of a mirror asking whether he is really afraid to die. Crying out to heaven hoping a divine voice drowns out the demons. And finally gratitude. Because this song was never made for streams or plaques. It was made because their stories deserved to be more than background noise on a TV screen.
Nine panels. Three acts. One tee.
